The Theology of the Body Times Square discussion group has been meeting for more than three years at St. Malachy’s Church at 239 West 49th Street.
Our final meeting will be held this February 20th, a Wednesday, at 7:00 pm.
Why our final meeting? Because we will be finished discussing all 663 pages of the book!
Even if you’ve never joined us, you are welcome to come to this last meeting. Please contact Peter McFadden for more information at (917) 846-3798 or at mcfadden@mac.com.
Professor Edward Sri has written an excellent short article, “Back to the Garden: Theology of the Body from Eden to Today.” You can find it at:

At our meeting on February 20th, we will discuss:
Audience 133: Conclusion and review
Presented by Pope John Paul II on November 28, 1984
This reading can be found in the new translation — now known by Pope John Paul II’s original title for the work, “Man and Woman He Created Them” — on pages 659-663.
At the conclusion of this discussion, we will celebrate completing our reading of the Theology of the Body. Celebration details to be announced.
The new translation of the Theology of the Body by Professor Michael Waldstein is the official text of our group.
You can buy a copy of the new translation at a Daughters of St. Paul bookstore near you, or online at: http://www.ourfatherswillcommunications.com.
